Smooth Surface Cutback Random Orbital Pad
Designed for removing fine scratches and general light swirls using a medium cut compound or polish.
The orange pad can be used as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe to begin with. On harder paint surfaces, the orange foam acts as the perfect choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
Standard Duty Orbital (SDO) pads are designed to offer the same great foams as the HDO line without the dual layer construction and are suitable for all random orbital DA polishers with a center ventilated backing plate. The center hole provides a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam; reducing surface temperatures making it less likely to damage the paint.
